Privacy policy for RoleProbe
May 15, 2026

Introduction

RoleProbe helps founder-led teams prepare better interviews by turning job descriptions and candidate resume claims into structured follow-up questions, answer signals, warning signs, and scorecards.

This policy explains how RoleProbe handles account, billing, usage, and candidate resume data.

Candidate Resume Data

The product is designed around privacy by default:

  • Raw PDF and DOCX resumes should not be stored long term by default.
  • Resume text is used to generate a structured interview-prep report.
  • Full candidate material should be saved only when the user explicitly chooses to save it.
  • Users should be able to delete saved reports and candidate material.

Generated reports and saved interview debriefs may be stored when a signed-in user chooses to generate or save them for later review.

Account, Billing, and Usage Data

We may collect account information, billing events, subscription status, report usage, and basic product analytics to operate the service, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

Human-in-the-Loop Hiring

RoleProbe does not make hiring, rejection, background-check, or legal compliance decisions. The service is designed to support human interview preparation.

Sensitive Information

Users should not use RoleProbe to evaluate protected characteristics such as age, gender, nationality, religion, disability, family status, pregnancy, photos, or any other sensitive identity traits.
